As We All Know

MSI (Micro-Star International) is a Taiwan multinational information technology corporation headquartered in New Taipei CityTaiwan. It designs, develops and provides computer hardware, related products, and services, including laptops, motherboards, graphics cards, All-in-One PCs, servers, industrial computers, PC peripherals, car infotainment products, etc.

About This Laptop:

or starters, the GT83VR features Intel's new 7th Generation "Kaby Lake" processor, specifically the Intel Core i7-7920HQ quad-core—the first time we've seen this chip—in our "GT83VR 7RF" Titan SLI review model. But the largest improvement comes from the dual Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 "Pascal" graphics processors (GPUs), each of which has 8GB of lightning-fast GDDR5X memory. We noted a more than two-fold performance improvement compared to the original GT80 we tested and its dual GeForce GTX 980M "Maxwell" GPUs.

The other big change—after all, nothing in or about this laptop is small—is the keyboard. A full-on mechanical keyboard has been the hallmark of this line since its inception. The GT83VR retains the mechanical Cherry MX keyboard of the GT80, but it uses a new kind of key switch and adds snazzy RGB backlighting, with the ability to configure the lighting key by key. (Not many other laptops support that kind of per-key programming, apart from isolated models from Razer and Aorus.) In addition, the GT83VR adds a USB Type-C port with Thunderbolt 3 support. The GT83VR is physically larger and thicker than the GT80, but it generally maintains the shape and spirit of its original design.

simply, THE BEST !!!

The GT83VR's quad speaker and subwoofer setup produce enough sound to fill a
small room. The speakers project vertically from in front of the display hinge,
while the subwoofer resides on the underside of the chassis. We were more impressed with the volume than the clarity or soundstage of this setup. The total sound output
of the GT83VR would probably be comparable to that of a midrange portable
Bluetooth speaker. In other words, it's well above average for a notebook.
